Planning Department Video Conferencing

To assist the Planning Department’s customers and provide efficient and cost effective service while promoting” Green” initiatives, the Department encourages the use of video and/or audio conferencing for meetings and appointments with Department personnel.  The video call-in conferencing address is “planningvc.coralgables.com.”  Please contact the Department at planning@coralgables.com in advance to schedule meetings.

Planning Department Digital Media Requirements

The City of Coral Gables Planning Department requires all correspondence, mapping, charts, etc. associated with new and existing development review applications to be submitted in a digital media format. The information shall be provided on compact disc in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF).  Hard copy submission of correspondence is still required at this time.  The intent is to phase out hard copy submission of Department correspondences at a future date.  The media format requirements are also follows:

R   Submission of two (2) compact discs (CDs) containing PDF files.

R   The disks shall be labeled on the top of the CD with the applicant(s) name, project name and date of submittal.

R   The CD shall contain a “Table of Contents” which identifies all PDF file name(s).

R   Each document on the CD shall be divided into separate PDF files to avoid the creation of large PDF files (i.e., application for site plan approval, site plan mapping, elevation drawing, etc.).

R   Maximum PDF file size is 10 Megabytes.

R   PDF quality.  Please ensure that all document information is legible.
